When she meets outfielder, Ian Happ, she feels something that she never felt before but doesn't think anything of it. Ian asks her out but Kayla goes to reject him because of her promise to herself. After many times of asking, she finally gives in, they go on a date and she likes it, and she wants to go out with him more. It's almost like smoke. She likes Ian a lot, and it's becoming addicting.
