What if the mimic was rewritten again? This is an attempt to both make the timeline make more sense and rewrite some of my issues with the story and lore. This is in no way meant to insult it's creators, there's just some things that felt off with the story and lore.

(Updates whenever I feel like it, don't expect any updates anytime soon.) Hi! If you don't know what Mimic is, it's a fun game on Roblox with rich lore inspired by Japanese urban legends with its own interpretations for each! I see some other Mimic oneshots but they have questionable content so I'm making my own!

Dream was a 10 year old child, a very curious one at that. One day, he ventured into a prohibited forest with his brother's that no one was aloud to go to. But while venturing he found an odd mask with a smiley face. When his brother's caught up to him more of those mask appeared, each of them took one of them but little did they know that could end in a serious danger to everyone around them. ________________ Some parts from the original game will be changed like how Dream will be ⊑⟟⏃☊⊑⟟ in this story, (k I'll shut my mouth or else I'll give more spoilers-)

Isamu Uchiumi's brother, Senzai, recently passed away after visiting the island of Aogashima. Isamu knows there's more to be unpacked about Senzai's mysterious death--but an investigation is quickly turned into a journey through a living hell. Entities and monsters plague the world around him and the universe that he has found himself in is a strange distortion of reality. Isamu and the others are desperate to survive, but will that be enough? Basically a write-down of The Mimic Book 2 (Book 1 is getting hard to write huhu) [I'm pretty sure you already know the basic Mimic lore, and the Book 2 story. If not, I strongly suggest you play the game for yourself!]
