Qutab Minar basically is a minaret and also known as a victory tower because whenever a slave (dynasty) became a king would like to show his power in the sense of Army, Education, Many buildings same pattern Qutb-ud-din-Aibak started and built one minaret which is the largest minaret in India 72.5Mtr high which is almost 73Mtrs and it is a 5 story building and built-in between 1192-1235, first 3 floors are built out of red sandstones by Qutb-ud-din-Aibak after the death of Qutb-ud-din-Aibak his successor who was his son in law built the last two floors and that two made by the mixture of red sandstone and marbles.
