In the seeming peace following the start of the Fourth Age and the end of all great wars with Sauron, Enemy of the Free Peoples of Middle-Earth, her duty was simple: follow in his father's footsteps and become the first queen of Rohan. For Elswyth, born and bred with an iron spririt and a warrior's fearlessness, it did not seem too daunting to ascend a throne which for so long had seen only kings. In Minas Tirith, the heir to another mighty kingdom, Eldarion, son of King Elessar and Queen Arwen, had only met the princess of Rohan when both were children, and knew from a young age that the two of them were doomed to be allies for life, but nothing more. This is the second part of my story "The way to Gondor". I highly recommend reading the first part before this, but it is also possible to start with this one. Aragorn and Legolas have lived in Minas Tirith for many years. Their children have almost grown up and peace dominates the lives of the people of Gondor. But a shadow draws near their idyll, the shadow of mortality. Once upon a time, lord Elrond offered a solution to this problem, but is it really true or is it just a tale? The kings decide to find out and start a new journey, as adventurous as the one they made years ago with the Fellowship. Follow them to the very North of Middle-Earth, where they encounter what is customarily called fate!

At the dawn of the Fourth Age in Tolkien's Middle Earth, a Queen's duty is no fairytale! While Legolas travels with the fellowship, leaving Thranduil to prepare the Woodland Realm for their greatest challenge!! But when the last flames are extinguished, who will be left standing? Book Two in the House of Greenleaves series (Don't forget to read Daughter of Arnor first). This book is subject to a complete Re-edit now that book one is finished. Please note my books follow the Lord of the Rings book lore and chronology as much as possible.

Upon leaving for Valinor (at the end of LOTR), Galadriel prophesised an Elvish message to Thranduil. It read: "Son, after son, after sunrise will appear a daughter of Rohan whose voice will reign upon the world of men. Her union to the other family will change the face of Middle Earth forever." The Woodland Elves remained in Middle Earth by the urging of Galadriel to oversee the dominion of man and the fulfillment of this prophecy under the continued rule of King Thranduil and Prince Legolas of Mirkwood. For the nine generations following the destruction of The One Ring the houses of Rohan and Gondor have only produced male heirs. They are waiting in hope for a daughter so that the two could unite through marriage and fulfill the prophecy. This story follows the life, love and decisions made by that very daughter.

And here, for the followers, is the continuation of Elenwë's adventures 😉 After learning who she was, surviving the battle of Helm's Deep, and finally coming to terms with her feelings for Legolas, the four companions made their way near the path of Dimholt. With a heavy heart, Elenwë parted with Aragorn, Gimli and especially... her betrothed as she found her brothers. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli plunged into the darkness of the mountain, while Elenwë, her brothers Elladan and Elrohir rode with the riders of Rohan to the foot of Minas Tirith. They arrived by surprise and threw themselves body and soul into the battle called the Pelennor fields. Will they survive? Will Elenwë's mission be successful? Enjoy your reading! 😄😄

The Third age draws to a close and the Fourth begins. The world is once again at peace for a time, and the time of men begins. Thranduil's people, being elves, began to gradually filter from the mortal land of Aman, and he was determined to be there to see the very last of them off, even when only five of them remain. Despite the quiet years and his ambitions to live as long as possible, he craved a fight, a few moments of glory at the head of an army. So when the opportunity presents itself he is more than willing to go, two of his guards and closest companions going with him. Could he truly bring the Elves to glory once again in their final years?

Eowyn is a daughter of horse lords, a shield-maiden of the mighty nation of Rohan. As the darkness of Mordor continues to overtake the lands of Middle-earth, she finds herself losing hope for herself and her country. She decides to stowaway as an undercover soldier as her uncle, the king, and his army goes to aid the armies of Gondor. Though there may not be much hope for winning this war, she aspires to die nobly while fighting for her land and world - except she does not find death, but finds a surprising alternative ending with something else entirely: hope. The end of "The Return of the King" as told from Eowyn's perspective.

The Community is dissolved. Gandalf has fallen. Everything seems doomed to failure as Frodo and Sam have separated from the group to go to Mordor. To the east of Arda, evil is spreading and awakening. What dangers await them? Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and Elenwë listen only to their loyalty and set off in pursuit of Uruk-Hai's group that has kidnapped the two young hobbits, Merry and Pippin. Will they see them again? Many generations ago, in the vast and uncaring desert that is Harad, a spring was discovered that grew into a bright oasis of hope for the despairing Haradrim people.
