Many generations ago, in the vast and uncaring desert that is Harad, a spring was discovered that grew into a bright oasis of hope for the despairing Haradrim people. They spent many long years carefully building the towering aqueducts that give life to Harmindon, also aptly named City of Many Waters. The War of the Ring is long past, and young Jeddah has become the chief breadwinner in her family after her mother's sudden death. With a sister and elderly grandmother to take care of, Jeddah struggles to earn enough for the same happy lifestyle they knew when their mother was living. However, the unexpected wedding of the Ramyah's son changes their lives, for the better. Disclaimer: this story is set in @GreenScholarTales's 'Seeds of the White Tree' universe which I cannot recommend more highly. Some characters belong to her too.

The Third age draws to a close and the Fourth begins. The world is once again at peace for a time, and the time of men begins. Thranduil's people, being elves, began to gradually filter from the mortal land of Aman, and he was determined to be there to see the very last of them off, even when only five of them remain. Despite the quiet years and his ambitions to live as long as possible, he craved a fight, a few moments of glory at the head of an army. So when the opportunity presents itself he is more than willing to go, two of his guards and closest companions going with him. Eowyn is a daughter of horse lords, a shield-maiden of the mighty nation of Rohan. As the darkness of Mordor continues to overtake the lands of Middle-earth, she finds herself losing hope for herself and her country. She decides to stowaway as an undercover soldier as her uncle, the king, and his army goes to aid the armies of Gondor. Though there may not be much hope for winning this war, she aspires to die nobly while fighting for her land and world - except she does not find death, but finds a surprising alternative ending with something else entirely: hope. The end of "The Return of the King" as told from Eowyn's perspective.

"Morgoth ripped the chain off his chest, scattering metal in all directions. Slowly, he stood up, testing his muscles. He had been idle for far too long." Morgoth is back, plunging Middle Earth into grave danger. And the only one who can stop him is a mere girl of 14. Her name is Cyrith. She has been chosen by the Valar, along with Raryn, a war refuge from Gondor. Join her in an adventure to bring peace once again to Middle Earth.

This is the second part of my story "The way to Gondor". I highly recommend reading the first part before this, but it is also possible to start with this one. Aragorn and Legolas have lived in Minas Tirith for many years. Their children have almost grown up and peace dominates the lives of the people of Gondor. But a shadow draws near their idyll, the shadow of mortality. Once upon a time, lord Elrond offered a solution to this problem, but is it really true or is it just a tale? The kings decide to find out and start a new journey, as adventurous as the one they made years ago with the Fellowship. Follow them to the very North of Middle-Earth, where they encounter what is customarily called fate!

Long one-shot. Lord of the Rings. Sing, O Valar, of the woes of the people of Middle-earth, for they are in sorrow. Or: a Gondorian soldier struggles with the loss of his comrades and the utter destruction he witnesses during the siege of Gondor. Slight description of PTSD.

Upon leaving for Valinor (at the end of LOTR), Galadriel prophesised an Elvish message to Thranduil. It read: "Son, after son, after sunrise will appear a daughter of Rohan whose voice will reign upon the world of men. Her union to the other family will change the face of Middle Earth forever." The Woodland Elves remained in Middle Earth by the urging of Galadriel to oversee the dominion of man and the fulfillment of this prophecy under the continued rule of King Thranduil and Prince Legolas of Mirkwood. For the nine generations following the destruction of The One Ring the houses of Rohan and Gondor have only produced male heirs. They are waiting in hope for a daughter so that the two could unite through marriage and fulfill the prophecy. This story follows the life, love and decisions made by that very daughter.
