In the blurry lines between sleep and reality, Alex finds himself walking down an endless, dimly lit hallway, a place that seems familiar yet unnervingly distorted. The air is heavy, suffused with tension, and every shadow whispers of danger. Money litters the floor - coins and bills that transform in value the deeper he walks - a symbol of opportunity, temptation, and the choices that shape his path. By his side is his brother, playful and mischievous, yet helpless against the mysterious forces lurking in the corridors. Suddenly, a stranger appears, piercing him with a sharp pin beneath his armpit, paralyzing him with fear. He cannot scream, cannot breathe, cannot move. Desperate, he urges his brother to find their mother, but the labyrinth twists and confuses, separating them. Doctors, nurses, or apparitions in scrubs appear behind windows, silent and unhelpful, while Alex fights against the crushing sense of isolation. Every step becomes a struggle, every face a question mark, and the line between allies and threats blurs. In this dreamscape, the ordinary rules of life no longer apply. Money becomes power, family becomes vulnerability, and the hallway becomes a test of courage and survival. Alex must navigate the chaos, decipher the intentions of those around him, and discover the strength he never knew he had. "The Hallway of Shadows" is a gripping, psychological dream story that explores fear, trust, and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of the unknown.

The year XXXX was a monumental one; not only because of the prophecy that was sent to each and every living person, but because of the effects of said prophecy. "The Lyre of Earth will be born within the year XXXX. They will shine with a power greater than anything imaginable, and they will use the light to burn away the darkness of society. A brighter future awaits if the Lyre can be found." One of the only times when all the world united, was to form the Potential Lyre Institution. Every child born in XXXX was collected and sent to one of 13 facilities. They were treated fairly and given education, just like any other child. But this story is not about the institution, or the lives of the Potential Lyres when residing in the faculties. Like with the prophecy, the most important thing is what happened after the Lyre was found. (Hello, everyone! This is my first story here on Wattpad, and it's completely original! I'm posting to gain feedback and improve my writing skills, so it'd mean so much to me if you comment your thoughts on my writing! Heads up, this description is only background information, and the real plot of the story is different. I hope you enjoy!)

EON VEIL A mind-bending sci-fi descent into identity, memory, and the spaces between stars. Adam wakes up alone on a starship called the Eon Veil. No past. No crew. No way home. Only the hum of the ship... and a voice that shouldn't exist. The Eon Veil isn't just sentient-it's responsive. It shifts with thought, adapts to fear, and reshapes itself based on what it remembers about its passengers... Or what it wants them to remember. As Adam explores the ship's labyrinthine corridors, he's pulled into otherworldly simulations, alien planets, and dreamscapes that blur the line between memory and reality. And just beyond the Veil's glass skin, strange celestial phenomena begin to appear, impossible anomalies that pulse and evolve in sync with Adam's mind. The deeper he searches, the more the universe seems to reflect him back at himself. Each step forward uncovers not just the truth of what happened aboard the Veil... But the truth of who he really is. Accompanied by a glitchy, sarcastic AI orb named DeadMouth and a haunting, shape-shifting presence known as NYX, Adam is forced to confront a terrifying possibility: He didn't survive a tragedy. He might have caused it. Or maybe... It never happened. Memory is a fragile construct. Especially when the ship remembers better than you do. THE VEIL is a lyrical, psychological sci-fi epic that fuses cosmic horror, emotional depth, and existential mystery. Perfect for fans of Annihilation, The Expanse, SOMA, Black Mirror, and anyone who likes their science fiction thoughtful, terrifying, and strangely beautiful. He's not just exploring a ship. Or alien worlds. He's unraveling himself, and the universe is listening. Some doors were never meant to open. But some were always waiting... just for him.
