You're taking a nice evening walk in the breeze when a fresh piece of paper lands smack in the center of your face. Upon picking it up you notice a phone number neatly printed on it. A being has had enough seeing its creations empty. A being will find intelligent life, and shepherd them into its plane. A being is willing to go far away to find them. Or Creative Mode Steve goes sci-fi and looks for mobs... to decorate his builds.

The sequel to Journey of Discovery. Taking place in the near future, the world has fallen into a dissonant state, pieces of itself held together by some unknown force. This itself was enough to reawaken an old enemy of ancient times. With an ancient evil rising and growing in power, and with the world in disrepair, the Steves are more then ever needed now to save the world and perhaps the very fabric of reality itself.

(Inspired by seeing others having made their own steve related stories) Moon was playing survival one day, and then suddenly they ended up inside the game because of one strange steve they found. (I think this counts as minecraft fanfic)
