Now that Ivor has run off to the Portal Network with the Atlas and the Enchanted Flint 'n Steel, the Order is trying to resume life as usual. Everything was going well- until a person from Jesse's past shows up. The Order begins to notice Jesse acting sketchy and she suddenly gets kidnapped. As her friends investigate, they discover that Jesse is actually the long-lost princess of Sky City. Thrust back into the life she tried to escape, Jesse must face the conflict she's been putting off, decide the fate of the future, and prevent old nemesis' from trying to steal the throne. This is the original version of the Royalty Series, and this book contains (Royalty 2020-2021, a summary of the lost media that is the 2021 Version of Royalty: The Queen, a draft of the prequel, Royalty: The Founder, and a draft of the last book, Royalty: The Heir. I look at the megalomaniac before me, and I let out a guttural scream before shoving as hard as I can against him. He stumbles, giving me satisfaction before lunging back at me. Lukas's shout of anguish is the last thing I hear before my body falls back, over the edge. I flail my arms like a water wheel out of survival instincts, and grab at open air. Aiden shrieks in maniacal glee as I fall, my own voice screaming louder than him as gravity pulls me down, deep into the mountain. Everyone knows what happens when a human climbs the mountain: they never return. I lost my baby sister to this damned mountain, and looks as though I'll meet the same fate she did ages ago." Jesse, leader of the Order of the Stone and Beacontown, was just trying to protect her beloved people from a now power hungry Aiden and his Blaze Rod cronies. As they fought, they both didn't realize they were near the barrier, until their shouting and fighting drew the attention of fellow heroes. Too late, they arrive on the scene to a crazy Aiden, but no Jesse. Alone, deep within Mount Ebott, Jesse must pull together her emotions, her bravery, kindness and intelligence to free herself and the monsters from the mountain, and unite the people of both worlds. One tyrant, one secret, and one revelation may be all it takes to break the legendary hero, savior of the world.

It's been a few years since Jesse and Feona found out about Juliana being their sister. It is now in the point of view of Lukas and Petra's daughter Jessica. As far as she could remember, she was always out adventuring with her parents, uncle, and aunts. But then, just as they think everything is going great, something big happens, and Jessica is found to keep a secret from Jesse, Feona, and Juliana. Will she be able to keep the secret from them? Or will they find out on their own about it? This is the sequel of Maybe All We Are's a Photograph, so if you haven't read that book, read it before you read this one. Still using Female Jesse.
