It could sense the boy's mixed emotions; fear, agony, shock and mostly confusion. But the way the little one looks at it was alluring, like a siren Neither of them doesn't understand a thing on what was happening, the creature felt the urge to.. rather protect it, keep it to say at least. Knowing that it was just the two of them inside, and also knowing the boy's parents were killed. It picked the child up and kept it in the cave on the mountains.
