The gold-and-black walls blurred together through exhaustion. Chandeliers glittered overhead. Slot machines chimed in the distance. A few citizens glanced up nervously before immediately looking away again. Tommy probably looked insane. His hair was soaked with melted snow. His hands trembled violently. There was dried blood on one sleeve from where he'd scraped his arm against stone. He made it about three more steps before someone shouted- "Tommy?!"
