TGCF Volume 4 spoilers! He Xuan gripped the wind master fan, it was broken and had blood all over it. Every time he saw it he felt a sense of guilt. Guilt that wouldn't go away no matter what he did. One night he fixed the fan, it opened and closed as it use to. He also rewrote the character that was on the fan "wind." He held it in his hand, holding it close to his heart.

It was my fault, for loving the one I wished to destroy. I will never be able to show my face to him again, the shame of knowing he's not able to hate me even though he should. It's more than I can bear. We were meant to meet, not to stay together.
