The gradual arrival of boys solicited a sequence of strange events - all of which led to the arrival of Thomas - a greenie threatening to upturn the carefully curated harmony of the glade. Yet as Harper and the others uncover shocking secrets and battles against unimaginable creatures, she realizes that escaping the Maze is just the beginning.

Newt loves his best friend Minho. But when Minho gets a boyfriend, Thomas, and Newt has to spend his birthday with him. Newt is not happy about this but maybe a day at the town's local festival with Thomas is exactly what he needs.

After Teresa arrived in the box, the gladers didn't expect to see another girl greenie to come out of the box not even a week later. August Evermore, woke up confused and angry. Definitely not that much different with her personality on earth. After finding out some things she figures out about the runners, she wonders about Minho. But seems like he doesn't even want to look at her, she then grows annoyed and they grow to dislike each other. After a few months... or years? They begin to tolerate each other maybe even more.

A girl enters the glade through the box, many of the gladers argue whether she should be kept or given to the maze. Does not include Thomas, or Teresa, based three years after the first gladers came up in the box. And might Minho finally get his well deserved love interest?

Emmeline didn't begin her life as a glader in the box. She came from the depths of the Maze, from one prison to another, and realised all she needed to find was someone to hope for. Newt didn't really feel alive as a Glader, until a girl came from the deep in the maze and made him see that all he had needed to find was somebody.
