The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. I woke up in a metal box with no memory, no answers, and about twenty boys staring at me like I was an alien. Apparently, this place is called the Glade. Apparently, the giant stone maze surrounding it is trying to kill us. And apparently, the most irritating person here is a Runner named Minho. He's fast, sarcastic, and thinks he knows everything about surviving the Maze. Unfortunately for him, I don't like being told what to do. Now we're stuck running the Maze together, arguing every five minutes while trying not to die. The Maze is dangerous. But honestly? Minho might be worse.
