Minimalist cerita

This is a compilation of haiku and senryu. Some are about life, some about shower thoughts, some are about a special girl. Most are probably bad but I'm proud of a few ones. I'm planning on making this a daily task. So every 2-3 days you can expect a new addition. "bUt I ThOuGHt I u SAiD DaiLy?" Yea. ... Prolly can't do that cause... you know... school. just a collection of things i never let myself say ---- it's not that I don't want to talk about it. it really isn't. because in all reality it is killing me to keep it to myself. my heart physically hurts from the weight of it all. but I don't want to tell you because I don't want you to look at me the way everyone else does. with a mixture of horror, heartbreak, and fear within their eyes. i don't want to have to say "it's okay" when you are at a loss for words. because it is not okay. i am not okay but just like me you don't know what to do about it. so if I can bear the pain and not have to put my parents through that. put you through that. i can take it.

Whose job is it to protect us when night awakens? A parent or a child-who comforts whom when the world turns upside down? Sleep is supposed to bring relief. But what if it only reminds us of what's real?

This is a collection of short poems I wrote mostly in 2016 and maybe one or two in the beginning of 2017. They are not anything like the poetry I write today, but I still like the aesthetic of them so here they are. Its fun to look back on myself not knowing how to put my pen on paper, or a keyboard on a phone in this case. I can articulate myself much better now but this is before I knew how to use words. I used to think everything I wrote needed to make sense but it doesn't anymore. So this is a few short, neat, poems I wrote before I knew that life is messy and not everything you write needs to be neat. I hope you enjoy. ♥️

A careless driver is stranded on a highway and discovers what lurks at night in the middle of nowhere. Will help arrive in time or will she be forced to flee the crashed car - her only safe haven within countless miles?
