This rewrite involves a more cohesive plot, more natural dialogue, as well as some utilization of the then-not-released Breath of the Wild lore. I hope you all like my second shot at this premise!)

I'm sure you all know of the mighty wind mage Vaati, who has terrorized Hyrule time and time again, but what of his story? What made him turn away from the right path to an evil one? This his story through his eyes.

Vaati was a happy picori until he got the taste of power. He steals the magic hat and turns to a powerful mage. When he offers, his best friend, Y/n to join him and become evil, she have two choices: to join him and let the darkness take over the world or defeat him and let him hate her for the rest of his life.

Vaati, the Wind Mage, has created a peace treaty with the king of Hyrule. He has created a kingdom in the skies, all for his own, with farmland, a village, a river and lake, a forest, and a field of flowers. In the center of the vilage, he even had a statue of Link and the Picori. Still, there was something missing. In the forest clearing in the kingdom of Hyrule, he meets (y/n), a pure-hearted fox-girl who has the ability to purify monster's souls. She seems skittish, and incredibly shy at first, but the two eventually fall in love~.
