I was entirely fixated on her. Every time she knew the answer, her foot rose a little. When we were reading, she shook her leg. When the debate started, she swayed side to side slowly. Her little movements were adorable but oh so distracting. I also noticed she never moved away from me, but it suspiciously seemed like she was moving closer. But that was probably my imagination. Evina Mavis. New rich freshman. High-maitencance. Teacher's pet. Cold. All these titles given to a girl who just wants to write and escape her reality. Xavis Zoldyc. The man holding it all together. Their chemistry is off the charts; he's so gentle with her, and she's herself with him. But as always, my gems, challenges arise. An absent father or two. A family to feed. A mother to hold together. Will our dear lovers have a chance, or is fate not in their favor?
