Daisy ist genau wie ihr Bruder Thomas schon als kleines Kind zu WICKED gekommen. Ihr ganzes Leben bestand daraus für WICKED zu kämpfen,spionieren und zu töten. Jetzt allerdings steht sie vor einer ganz besonderen Aufgabe: Sie muss ins Labyrinth. Dort soll sie einen Fehler wieder gut machen den sie begangen hat. Aber um die Informationen zu beschaffen die WICKED benötigt muss sie das Vertrauen der Lichter gewinnen. Doch schnell merkt sie, dass die Jungen nicht der Feind sind. Und ganz besonders ihr zweiter Anführer macht es Daisy schwer sich auf die Mission zu konzentrieren. Und bald muss sie sich entscheiden zwischen ihrem alten Leben in Sicherheit, zusammen mit ihrem Bruder oder ihrem Herzen und dem Kampf um die Freiheit mit ihren neuen Freunden.
