    She was an odd woman, the lady next door. For all the years Izuku had lived there, she did not seem to change once, save for the ways she wore her hair and the and the almost calculated way in which she switched out her yukata, nothing about her ever shifted. She talked with the voice of someone very old and looked very young. Her vibrant eyes pierced the soul of anyone who passed, and yet, he could not bring himself to fear her. Not when she radiated an aura of care and kindness like it had been learned over centuries, not when she looked at him like he was the future. OR Nezuko senses something in young Izuku. She decides that he will carry on their legacy.
