Marisol Cortez is a shy photographer who doesn't like too much attention. When she catches the attention of a certain shape-shifting Madrigal, she has one goal: hide away. Camilo's goal on the other hand: make her smile. No pictures used are mine unless specified.

Mirabel Madrigal a 15 year old girl who has gone through so much, she's been abandoned ever since she didn't get a gift. She's gone through so much, she was ignored, neglected and blamed for problems that she didn't even do and constantly reminded of that day. She goes through a sudden change, she grows another emotion. She grows more childish and finds company in younger children as she feels as if she's just like them. She didn't know where it came from, could it have been the loneliness eating at her? Or could it be Casita who wanted everyone to have a different insight?

All her life, she hadn't been able to receive a gift. She is neglected, ignored, even abused in some cases. As she holds the candles, the last remains of Casita, she decides no one should deserve anything amazing when someone else receives worse. Mirabel decided no more hiding in the shadows.

Mirabel is having trouble with all the disrespect her town has been giving her. She just wants to live a normal life! But without a gift, she's a misfit. She decides to take a nap so she can get her mind of her problems... but it gives her new problems. Will she survive through the horrors of Nevermore Academy? Can she go home? But that all changed when she discovers who she is and is reunited with her family and have her magical gift back. Her magical gift is: the power of music and hearing the beautiful sounds of melody and harmony everywhere.
