I'm busy rewriting "Beyond Another World" since the original plot wasn't working out for me, but I figured it would be fun to publish what the original first chapter was! There will be several differences between this and what the final version will be, but it might also help give you an idea of where the story will be going as I work out details.

The Neverseen have just about had it with not defeating Sophie, her friends, and the Black Swan yet. Upon learning about two humans in the Forbidden Cities and allying with their own nemesis, they come up with a new tactic. A special genetic manipulation project they've dubbed "Operation: Antiblanc." Now Sophie has to find the heroic versions of Antibug and Cat Blanc to stop them. Her current mindset: - Both these new villains have elvin abilities - Both of them are nearly unstoppable - Only the mysterious Ladybug and Cat Noir Mr. Forkle mentioned can defeat them - ...Why does Cat Noir keep giving her the weird fluttery feeling Fitz used to give her? (the ladyblanc art on the cover is the work of wild_._dog on instagram! check her out; she's really good!)

Having fled the Lost Cities, Keefe Sencen doesn't know what to do anymore. He's been infused with so much power he doesn't understand, a power that's already caused damage back home. But out in Paris, he learns that the fight between his friends and Neverseen is about to take a new twist. The Neverseen was always a step ahead. They'd gathered Keefe would try and run away from his fate. Probably why they had a secret stashed in the city. And the Black Swan had gotten the same idea. Worlds will collide as haunting new discoveries and revelations are found, exposing threats that could destroy both the human and elvin worlds for good, should the Neverseen get what they wanted.

And only Adrien stands between the Neverseen and their goals. Three worlds will collide for the final battles in the war that could change the world as we know it, in either direction. Either the moonlark wins the war... Or this is his swan song.

Adrien's never felt a sense of belonging. He can't explain why the strange stuff happens around him. Why things seem to quite literally fall apart. It all changes the day he meets Sophie Foster, a strange girl with an even stranger ability: she appears to be able to read other people's minds. She soon admits that another world does in fact exist: Aelesia, a hidden realm that he somehow is a part of, having been born there but went missing four years later. Taking the opportunity, Adrien crosses into a world he never thought would be real. It's all a dream come true. Until the dream dies. Because rebels are crossing through the country, determined to take the power of ancient spirits. He has to enlist the help of two nobles, including Sophie, and a local fugitive to protect this world he's just returned to from its destruction. (kotlc/mlb crossover and fantasy au)

I'm kinda in both of those moods right now, so this book is just memes, funny stuff, etc. Yes, the two fandoms have merged together in this, because I'm equally obsessed with both right now (for Keefe and Adrien/Cat Noir reasons). Yeah, they all know each other, I don't care. And yes, Marinette and Adrien know each other's superhero alter-egos, since it's gonna be tough if they don't. KOTLC belongs to Shannon Messenger. Miraculous Ladybug belongs to Zagtoon/Disney (I think Disney's slowly buying Miraculous)

The Black Swan had kept everyone in the dark for fourteen years. Sure, they had kept Sophie Foster from the Lost Cities for twelve years, but they had another large secret that had gone on for even longer. You see, the Black Swan had been prepared. Like with the two Forkles, the shadowy organization had a trick up its sleeve... And it was all discovered thanks to Keefe Sencen running away to the Forbidden Cities. He winds up in Paris, France, and soon finds himself meeting none other than Adrien Agreste. However, Adrien himself has been plagued with nightmares, being haunted by places and things he doesn't know about, but yet can feel a sense of familiarity and home with the images. What's even stranger than that? Other than Keefe, he's beginning to hear voices. Not just physical voices. Their mental voices. Because the Black Swan had made a second moonlark. Continuing right after "Unlocked," "The Second Moonlark" forces everyone to begin to question everything around them, including their own identities. (I'm trying to channel my inner Shannon Messenger here, so yeah. The Neverseen have a brutally simple plan: capture the moonlark and a human girl, make the human girl take the role of the moonlark, and use the real moonlark for their own gain. And it works. During the aftermath of Lumenaria's collapse, Keefe finds not Sophie but a dark haired girl in a ladybug costume lying next to Edaline. And Sophie is MIA. Now Ladybug/Marinette has to take on Sophie's role and free the real moonlark from the Neverseen, before everything goes into a chaotic mess. (this may make no sense but i have like no idea how to explain this. it makes more sense in the story)
