Tamaki is a young, shy and anxious dragon who has been living by himself for 17 years alone. Mirio Togata, a young, joyful villager from the opposite side of the island, was exploring by himself until he came across Dragon Tamaki hiding in a cave skinny and weak and unable to speak the human language. Mirio, wanting to help the dying child who hid from the world, takes him back to his village, but is bringing a dragon to a village a safe idea for Tamaki?

Tamaki is suffering from a deep depression and has major social anxiety and is ready to give up. Will tamaki be save in time? If so by who?
