Deep within the realms of the Rhosabel forest a elfling lives. Orphaned by events that happened many moons ago she was left in the care of those who cost her parents their lives. A long forgotten promise, and a long bearded stranger comes knocking on her door, changing her life forever. .... "You're nothing but a coward!" She spat, venom dripping off every syllable. Earth. Shelby sits in her car, cigarette smoldering between her fingers, dreading the soul-sucking shift ahead. She exhales, watching the smoke coil toward the sky. A black cloud looms overhead. Figures. "Literally always over my damn head," she mutters. Flicking the cigarette butt, she presses the lock on her fob and starts across the parking lot. Blue light flares behind her. She doesn't look. Probably those new headlights-too bright, too fake, too much. Then-hoofbeats. Her blood chills. Her steps falter. Slowly, she turns. A man on a towering elk is closing in. Silver hair, flowing like spun moonlight. A crown of twisted branches. Eyes cold and knowing. "No way." "Give me your hand, woman!" His voice-deep, commanding, velvet-edged steel. He even sounds like that actor! Her brain stutters. "No. Fucking. Way." Then- "HELP! Somebody help me!" He sighs. Annoyed. Then moves-fast. The elk surges forward. She barely has time to flinch before strong hands seize her, hauling her up like she weighs nothing. She fights-kicking, clawing, cursing-but his grip is iron. "Calm yourself, little dove," he murmurs, unbothered, turning the elk sharply. The swirling blue void swallows them whole. That day, if he had truly felt no pity for the little girl, he would have told his elves to send her away. Give her up to the closest civilization they could find. Not bothering to concern himself with the problems of a mortal child. But that day in particular, King Thranduil did in fact feel it. Pity for the loss the child had endured and survived. And so, the King then made his decision. He did not order his elves to send the child away. Instead, ordering that she would remain in halls of Mirkwood. Morgoth's son returns to middle earth in an attempt to rule it and he has a secret linked to his fascination for Galadriels daughter , Aravis who is presently living in Mirkwood. Legolas' life is finally somewhat peaceful, that is until his closest friend is targeted by a powerful enemy and he realises what he feels for her is much more than friendship except she becomes close to a mysterious elf who she can relate to in a way that Legolas could never understand.

An elven warrior along with a handful of maidens came to Mirkwood, but they were only there to help with the healers. As time progressed on, she would bridge the gap that was between father and son then helped the father move on from his wife's passing. After that, former wife would help him learn what the warrior would feel.

Ellendil let the arrow fly from her bow as she said, "I orcs gar- reached i fen!" She jumped over an orc and slid her sword through its back as she turned her gaze on the elf behind her. "Híril Ellendil, I orcs will nia nor- ammen!" the elf said. Ellendil blinked and looked around. "No, they won't," she said when she finally spotted what/who she was looking for. Without a moment's hesitation she flung herself into the fray, striking down any orc that got in her way. Blood splattered her face and finally, she leaped into a tree, drew her bow and loaded an arrow. "Híril Ellendil!" The moon shone in the night sky, and the cold chill of the night air made her breath chilling. She stared at the roaring figure and muttered, "Take down the leader, and you take down the army." Time seemed to stop as she let the arrow fly. It sped through the air slowly, and even slower, the head of the huge figure turned. But it was too late. The arrow struck him in the head, and he fell, dead. "Elldendil! Bellow cin!" Legolas called through the retreating orcs. The tree was shaking, and the orcs swarmed it. Ellendil let more arrows fly, but before she could leap to another tree the branch snapped and she fell into black. * * * Ellendil, younger sister to Legolas, and daughter to Thranduil longs to see beyond Mirkwood. Her deepest desire was to explore beyond Mirkwood, and she did not keep it hidden. With many attempts to escape she is confined to the kingdom and not allowed to enter the trees. In the end she gives up her dream, but all that changes when she meets Elmen. And across the land in Lothlórien the daughter of Galadriel, Elbereth, has not yet found her true love. And in Rivendell, the sister of Arwen and daughter of Elrond, Luthien, is striving to be the best medic she can be. (Ellendil, Elmen, Luthien, and Elbereth are my fanfiction characters.
