Before Harry Potter, there was another child. Born of a love that bridged two worlds, she is the daughter of Lily Evans and Prince Legolas Greenleaf of Mirkwood. Raised between the halls of King Thranduil and the magic of Hogwarts, she belongs fully to neither world. Though only a fifteen-year-old witch by human reckoning, she is still an elfling by her father's people. Each year, an ancient Elven glamour lets her appear the proper age at Hogwarts, hiding the child she truly is beneath graceful features and quiet strength. The Sorting Hat places her in Slytherin. To most, that single choice is enough to make them question her loyalty-including her own younger brother, Harry. Then the Triwizard Tournament changes everything. A single reckless moment leaves half her body ravaged by cursed fire. She hides the scars beneath glamour and silence, refusing to burden either side of her family with the truth. When she returns to Mirkwood and finds herself aiding Thorin Oakenshield's Company through the perilous Woodland Realm, the scars she has fought so hard to conceal become the very thing that begins to heal centuries of hatred between Elves and Dwarves. Caught between Hogwarts and Mirkwood, between Slytherin ambition and Elven grace, she must decide where she truly belongs... before both worlds lose the daughter they never knew they needed. Amariel is Elrond's niece and has decided the travel with Aragorn to Bree on a mission set by Gandalf. On the way there she realizes how much she loves adventure and then when Frodo makes it his mission to destroy the One Ring she joins the Fellowship. As they journey through Middle Earth Amariel begins to develop feelings for a certain woodland Prince. But as their love blossoms a war is raging across the lands. Can their feelings compete with the evil overwhelming their world? Set in the events of Lord of the Rings (however some events may change) and all rights to events and characters belong to J.R.R.Tolkien and Peter Jackson. I will likely follow the movie script but will try to add as much extra in as possible so it does not seem as though you are just following the movie lines. I highly recommend listening to the LOTR soundtrack whilst reading by the way. I also am aware not many people read LOTR fanfics so any support in the comments will be greatly appreciated. This is my first ever published work so please be kind and so some of the writing isn't perfect but I hope you can forgive me (especially because I know I struggle with tenses).

Amara is the youngest child of Lord Elrond and Lady Celebrian. Amara has always longed for adventure and when threats begin to arise all over Middle Earth, Amara follows her father to Mirkwood in search of answers. While there, she meets a beautiful Elven Prince and begins wondering if she should stay in Mirkwood or return home with her father. *This is a re-write of my original story 'An Arranged Marriage'*

With the darkness brewing and only getting stronger as the years pass, it seems all hope is lost. The tragedy in Mirkwood was set to hold back the elves even more, but it only made them stronger. A couple of millennia after the incident, all seems well. For some unknown reason, the light gradually became brighter; or was this all a ruse? The darkness never truly rests; always on the move, but sometimes swifter, quieter... like the winds. Sometimes so strong that the birds struggle against them, but often so soft that it is nothing but a gentle breeze against your skin. Regardless, it is always there. The leaves rustle in its presence, but at some point, at least one has to flow against the wind. --- (I suck at summaries) A Lord of the Rings fanfiction. It's still a work in progress, but I've got the entire thing outlined so it's just a matter of me writing the chapters. I'm honestly excited for this, and I hope you all enjoy it!

Daughter of the forest Torneth Was born and raised in Mirkwood (The Woodland Realm) but now lives as a ranger in the wild. Mostly wandering ever since she was thrown out by King Thranduil for "disrupting the peace far to many times." And now for safety she hides everything that makes her Elf like, including her ears. Her mother raised her but she has never met her father. Some said he was one of the Númenoreans. On her new assigned adventure she sets out to reclaim something far more precious than gold or silver and with the help from her old friends and some new ones , Torneth's life is changed forever.

She's related to Lord Elrond and to Lady Galadriel. she grew up playing in Mirkwood running around with Legolas training playing. learning from her father and his father. she is so close to Legolas and yet so jealous of Tauriel because she has always had his eyes so she thinks.

An arrow started it all. A dragon guards a kingdom, and so a company of brave dwarves must come together to save the treasure that lies beneath the halls. And just when it seems like it's all over........ a great power starts to grow, the remaining forces of Middle earth must rally, to protect their world. The adventures of Legolas and my own original character Ardashan while they grow up together and learn to fight and defend their homeland. Follow these two as the go on adventures and meet other characters both my own an the ones already known. Both Tauriel and Thranduil make multiple appearances as well as some others hopefully. There are many creatures all across Middle Earth, hero or villain, friend or foe, angel or demon. But there is one who stands distant from the latter. The Otherworldly One, also known as the Lingering Lady. She saved the elven prince's life. She, both demon and angel. She whom walks both paths of the hero and villain. She whom is friend and foe.

(Not a death story) The dwarves are a few miles away form Mirkwood when Kili runs into Legolas, who was sent to see what route they were taking. When the two of them meet an even stranger elf, Haunlild (Hi-un-ild), a pack of orcs ambush the camp. Thorin thinks the elves were responsible for the attack and demands that they be tied and traded for a passage through Mirkwood. The only problem is that Fili has run off with Legolas and Haunild to save his brother from a terrible fate. Their little side quest uncovers some very big things happening in Middle Earth.
