Jasmine Nixon, a girl from a small town who lives her life in solidarity doing only what it takes to get by. Pressured by her family's and school's expectations, she longs to get away and live her own life. She doesn't have time for anyone's problems but her own and isn't bothered by her lack of friends. But one day the Carnival comes to town and a special someone sends her spinning into a newfound light.

The magical Carnival that happens only for 1 night after every 5 years but the door starts with a warning, "if you get lost and didn't come before the night passed you'll never come back." Three friends trying to enjoy the Carnival but there fun games turns into a survival game. The cave they entered showed them the dark and paranormal side of the world. You've always kinda liked mirror mazes in theme parcs. That was where you could think and wander. A mysterious place you would get away from with ease but you would spend hours in only for the sake of breathing and being alone. This one, though, was a little different... (yes, the boy on the cover is from FMA, but the story isn't about him.)
