At first glance, Gabriel Parker appears to be just like any other 14 year old boy with a screwed up family. His mother, devastated after a painful divorce, has turned into an abusive alcoholic. His older brother Garret is an emotionally unstable bully, and Garret’s twin Graham is a whimpering introvert who can’t stand up for anyone, especially himself. That would make life hard for anyone, but on top of it all, Gabriel harbors a deadly secret, one that even he himself isn't aware of. Gabriel is a twin soul, born with a completely different person living inside him. This other personality isn't just a personality, he’s real. He calls himself Matt, and he is the exact opposite of Gabriel- sick, psychotic, and dangerous. He lurks in the mirrors, waiting for the right moments to break free and take control of their shared body. Matt has his own plans for Gabriel, and no one will stand in his way-except for maybe Gabriel himself.

When a man notices a light glowing from the window of a supposedly empty apartment, he calls his building manager to investigate. But the truth may reflect something horrifying... This story was written on-site in the Creative Writing Competition at the 2014 National Beta Club Convention held in Richmond, VA, and won first place.

Seven friends share a summer together at a building that was once an old dance studio. A time that was expected to be shared adventure, turns out to be much more of an 'adventure' then they thought. The building slowly reveals it's hidden mysteries behind it's mirrors and the seven friends soon find out that there is much more to their reflection than they think.
