Mikoto Misaka, said to be the third strongest level 5 in Academy City, faces a whole new challenge when she wakes in a Nagatenjouki Academy classroom only knowing the name "Accelerator."

"Papa..." "Why must I deal with this?" Accelerator was already having a hard time dealing with his current brats. But what happenas when one more appears and claims to be his daughter. And why is the hero here? Screw that. Why are the other level 5s here as well?!

"Do dreams have deeper meanings?" Things have settled down a bit in Academy City. The residents have been leading relatively normal lives for the past few weeks. Dreams about a Silver Key and some Gates. Now, what has fate arranged for him this time, and what does the Silver Key and the Gates mean? Where do they take him? What lies ahead?
