Just a little something I wrote at school out of boredom, consists of what I think would be going through Shinji's head after the events of 3.0

He's never felt emptier in his entire life. Going through life is a chore, piloting the EVA is draining, and he can't seem to get along with anyone. One night, when he's at his lowest low with no light at the end of the tunnel, Shinji makes an attempt at his own life. But when Asuka walks in on him, she is thrust back to the moment her mother made the same decision. As Shinji lies comatose in NERV's hospital, Asuka and Misato wait with baited breath for him to come back. Can Asuka save Shinji from himself? Can she save herself as well, and face her demons that all stem from that fateful day in her past? Can Shinji forgive himself, as well as Asuka? Any way the wind blows, the answers will be revealed.
