Doddy has always been good at getting love completely wrong.
Growing up in Bandar Lampung, he moves from one awkward crush to another, armed with terrible timing, unnecessary confidence, strange jokes, and the belief that every confusing look from a girl must mean something. Sometimes he gets rejected. Sometimes he gets jealous. Sometimes he thinks he understands exactly what is happening, only to realize much later that he understood almost nothing at all.
Then Linda and Vida become part of his life.
Linda is the kind of first love that refuses to disappear completely, even after everything is supposed to be over. Vida arrives later and gives Doddy something different, something real enough to make him believe that maybe this time he finally knows what he is doing.
He does not.
Between school, friendships, old feelings, new relationships, late night conversations, missed calls, jealousy, bad decisions, and far too many moments of overthinking, Doddy slowly learns that loving someone is much easier than knowing how to treat them well.
Years later, an older Doddy looks back at the boy he used to be and realizes how ridiculous some of his choices were, how deeply some of them hurt, and how even the relationships that did not last still left something behind.
