This shot is completely written from Abir's point of view during their break up phase. I think his pain is not explored much. So this is my attempt to look into his mind. This is a short one. Probably the shortest I have ever written. But I wanted to keep it that way - short and crisp. Do let me know what you think about it.

MishBir and their Drunk Moments.

After a traumatic incident, Mishti awakens from a one-month coma with psychogenic amnesia- she can't remember the last five years of her life or the event that took it all away. Returning to a house she can't call home and a man who claims to be her husband is the least of her worries when secrets are revealed that may prove all of her new memories are nothing but lies dressed in an all-consuming love that she just isn't ready for.

Two souls chasing the past clash in the summery confines of Sudan, but will their love outlast the very last demon, or will the secret she's fought so hard to keep be their final undoing? Mishti holds the truth in her slit wrists, beneath her torn blouse and in her bleeding heart, it's a truth she swore to never speak aloud, but one she must pay for all the same. Abir escaped from his monster at a young age only to return to him when the clock turned back. He remains in a locked room with only flashes of a past as his protection from the heat sizzling through his skin. In the midst of lies, secrets kept and a marriage both of them want, can Abir and Mishti find love once again in the ocean of loss?

A YRHPK story. The story is set from the point where Kuhu asks for Mishti's mandap. Abir & Mishti had indeed decorated their mandap with their own hands, the place where they will become one, in a few hours from now. Abir picked Mishti up like a bride, took 7 rounds around the empty hawan kund and told her how nobody can separate them anymore. And then came Kunal, standing in front of the duo with his head hung. He broke the news of their reconciliation, much to Abir and Mishti's happiness. It was short lived though, when Kunal dropped the bomb of Kuhu's demand.
