Water pouring on my open skin tears pouring down my face. You can't notice because of the water pouring. The blood pouring out of my open wounds just seem to make the pain melt.it makes no sense to you because you haven't seen my pain. it seems that I don't know you. that's what you may think. well your right because I don't know your story but I understand that you have felt pain and you can't let go of it. same to you my dear you don't know me but you understand.

Fifteen-year-old Genevieve has just started a new chapter of her life upon entering freshman year of high school. But a few months after it has only begun, she finds out that it has to come to a short stop. All of her friends, adventures, only memories. She feels lost and misplaced as she starts over somewhere else. but as time goes on she begins to wonder, and thinks that maybe she isn't an anachronism after all.

This short essay is a matter of reflection and identity in regards to our names. It's funny that our names are chosen for us, seems a bit like fate; a bit of those who came before us and those who will come after. I love my name, but I've always wondered: has it ever really fit? Hi. I'm Blake. Seventeen year old Blake Diamond to be precise. Good girl, goodie two-shoes. All names that describe me... or atleast what they want me to be. 'They' are my parent: Over protective, controlling, strict people. They are trying to force me into being 'perfect', or atleast their version or what 'perfect' is. My 'perfect' is different though. What if a girl wants to follow her dreams and carve her own future. I just want to be my true self and with the help of a friend and a few others, it might be possible. I just need to keep focus on who the good guys are, but also more importantly... have a little fun.

Heize sees in color. While New York City, the city where she grew up in, feels like a mix of vibrant primary colors to create a plethora of hues, Seoul, the city she is forced to relocate, feels like a grey monochromatic palette. However, in the midst of the drastic changes in her life, Heize is able to find solace in a bustling night-life sector in the middle of Seoul called Hongdae, where she also meets Denzel who is able to change her perspective on her life in Seoul. This is (hopefully) a heart-wrenching, but at the same time a light and entertaining novella that addresses the complexities of growing up and seeds hope in young adolescents and adults to see the world for the beauty it contains.

A little hate draws the maze...long and fueled by what is mistaken for love. Hailey's been taunted and used all her life, broken, hurt, traumatised. She stops believing in people, in the world and herself...then along comes Xavier, the good looking middle aged professor, her heart beats for him and his for her.....but they find themselves in a world, where even the purest of roses are cursed with thorns.
