Heize sees in color. While New York City, the city where she grew up in, feels like a mix of vibrant primary colors to create a plethora of hues, Seoul, the city she is forced to relocate, feels like a grey monochromatic palette. However, in the midst of the drastic changes in her life, Heize is able to find solace in a bustling night-life sector in the middle of Seoul called Hongdae, where she also meets Denzel who is able to change her perspective on her life in Seoul. This is (hopefully) a heart-wrenching, but at the same time a light and entertaining novella that addresses the complexities of growing up and seeds hope in young adolescents and adults to see the world for the beauty it contains.

Hi. I'm Blake. Seventeen year old Blake Diamond to be precise. Good girl, goodie two-shoes. All names that describe me... or atleast what they want me to be. 'They' are my parent: Over protective, controlling, strict people. They are trying to force me into being 'perfect', or atleast their version or what 'perfect' is. My 'perfect' is different though. What if a girl wants to follow her dreams and carve her own future. I just want to be my true self and with the help of a friend and a few others, it might be possible. I just need to keep focus on who the good guys are, but also more importantly... have a little fun.

Okay so I lost this story and its driving me nuts. Michael was a terrible frat boy, like horrific. Drank and smoked, only there because he was a legacy, etc etc, and the girl I believe was in aa sorority, and they cycle through their relationship. At one point she accidentally stays at the frat house and has to sneak out. Her and him are kinda always opposing. I know it was pretty long. Like at least 5+good sized chapters. The writer was good and the structure was good. Help me? I'll try to add more details as I remember them. Thanks!!
