The narrator, a young man who manifests double personality, lives the drama of a man without meaning in life and depressed. His mother dies in bizarre circumstances. Troubled by frustrations and loneliness, he unsuccessfully tries to commit suicide.
After recovery he falls madly in love with a woman much older than him, married to a Muslim terrorist financer. The relationship is uncovered, and he flees to Eastern Europe.
There he integrates very well, has a prosperous life, a promising new relationship, but the love left overseas calls him irresistibly. He makes the mistake of giving in to temptation.
In the end his life will finally have meaning.
