The novel also portrays the encounters of Yezi’s America-born mother, Mayflora, in China during her search for her birth father. Besides, the novel reveals the missionary experience and love story of Yezi’s Canadian grandmother, Agnes, with the West China Mission and her life in America. After the long journey these three generations reach their home.

Katrina lives in a small town. Things have been getting riled up for some years now with talk of witches. The townspeople don't like them and Katrina doesn't want to be one. Her life begins to change when Tristan comes to town from England. He changes her for the better but this only seems to cause more problems.

This book goes to all the people who are not in there birth country or sound different from the others or look different or just flat out different! This story is on my life and is 100 percent true! I may not put all of my life like names or real ages but it's still pretty close and I will not put anything that did not happen!
