The place Oenpelli,(now Gunbalanya) is near Kadadu National Park, made famous in Crocodile Dundee. It is a memoir of growing up in one of the most isolated parts of Australia - in a small aboriginal missionary community in the Northern Territory, something the equivalent of the remote Canada or Alaska. It is the landscape featured in the movie Crocodile Dundee. It is a story of my memories and love for this remote and beautiful place, in which I lived as a child then worked as an adult and of many NT characters who gave me the memories.It is also the story of me working as an adult across many parts of the NT and about the hardy, outlandish characters that inhabit this place. It also tells of my own experience of surviving attack by a large crocodile in a remote swamp It also provides a foundation for my novels in the Crocodile Spirit Dreaming Series. The places in these books are the places in which I lived and worked and many of the stories came little changed from people I knew.

Besides, the novel reveals the missionary experience and love story of Yezi’s Canadian grandmother, Agnes, with the West China Mission and her life in America. After the long journey these three generations reach their home.

Lilly was born to missionary parents and has been to quite a few very remote places. Lilly has always dreamed of being a missionary herself. She's got the experience and stories from when she was a kid and the education from a Bible college. She's only got the summer left before she leaves to spread the gospel. To complete her task of having ministry with all kinds of people, she finds herself in a jail ministry with her pastor and a few church friends. Everything was perfect until she saw him. She didn't want to like him or even think about him, beyond his salvation, but she can't get him out of her mind. Even him being in jail and knowing what she's leaving to do can't stop it. To make things worse, he's out a month before it's time to leave. He's weaseled his way into the good graces of the pastor and somehow onto her missionary team. She knows it's too good to be true, but there's nothing she can do. Can Lilly be her true missionary self and save even him, or will his charm get the best of her for good?

hello readers !! this is a mormon love story, or maybe it's more of a love story that has elements of mormonism. i myself am not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but i do have a deep fascination with the religion, it's people, and the culture. i will do my very best to respect the culture and the church, as i would want someone to do for my own religion. if there ever comes a point in my writing in which maybe there's something missing or i used a slang word wrong, please feel free to give me tips/suggestion on how to make the story more enjoyable for an LDS member. i hope that my story if a fun and entertaining read.

This book goes to all the people who are not in there birth country or sound different from the others or look different or just flat out different! This story is on my life and is 100 percent true! I may not put all of my life like names or real ages but it's still pretty close and I will not put anything that did not happen!
