I am preparing to go on the world race at the end of June 2015. This is HOPEFULLY going to be a daily blog about my journey prior to the race. For now I am starting it as a 45 days prayer challenge. I am hoping to get in the habit of praying daily for a specific purpose. I am going to be sharing my fears of going on the race, insecurities I may be facing. I am probably going to ask you to pray for me and with me. By the end of the 45 days, I am hoping to have a praise report. What happens after the 45 days are over? I may continue it after 45 days, but then again I may just start something else. Some people will like it, some people won't. While I can't force you to agree with my "blog", I'd appreciate it if you stay respectful. If YOU find yourself disagreeing with a post, feel free to comment and share your opinion. However, please refrain from being disrespectful, please understand that I am entitled to my beliefs just as you are. This is a journal I wrote while I was on a week long mission trip in South Africa. You'll read stories about my adventure to South Africa, interactions with the locals, the amazing food, and most importantly how God used that week to transform me, those on the mission team, and those who we interacted with. Before each day I have a reference verse as a thought or concentration for the day. Hope it is encouraging to you! I will hopefully be able to update this story weekly!

Lilly was born to missionary parents and has been to quite a few very remote places. During her high school, they'd settled back in the states and started training other missionaries, only going on occasional, and usually shorter, mission trips. Lilly has always dreamed of being a missionary herself. She's got the experience and stories from when she was a kid and the education from a Bible college. She's only got the summer left before she leaves to spread the gospel. To complete her task of having ministry with all kinds of people, she finds herself in a jail ministry with her pastor and a few church friends. Everything was perfect until she saw him. She didn't want to like him or even think about him, beyond his salvation, but she can't get him out of her mind. Even him being in jail and knowing what she's leaving to do can't stop it. To make things worse, he's out a month before it's time to leave. He's weaseled his way into the good graces of the pastor and somehow onto her missionary team. She knows it's too good to be true, but there's nothing she can do. Can Lilly be her true missionary self and save even him, or will his charm get the best of her for good?
