A short short story. A young girl runs away and her cat follows. DISCLAIMER: This story is based on a true event from my early childhood. However, some details, dialogue, and descriptions have been fictionalized, dramatized, or expanded to support the theme I was aiming for, and to reflect my limited memory of the event.
