I have always been fascinated by the state of Mississippi and its rich history. From the blues music that originated in the Mississippi Delta to the Civil Rights Movement that took place in the state, there is so much to learn and explore here. Some of my favorite things to do in Mississippi include visiting the historic Vicksburg National Military Park, taking a boat tour along the Mississippi River, and tasting the delicious Southern cuisine that the state is known for. Whether you are a history buff or a foodie, there is something for everyone in Mississippi.

A while ago a friend and I set each other a challenge to write a poem based on a picture that we sent each other. I sent her a picture and she wrote a poem about it where as she sent me a website!! Well, I finally got round to writing the poem, many months late! I hope you like it, took a while but I think it was worth it!

Jordan has lived her whole life in Chicago with her dad, Luke. Her mother died of cancer when she was only two years old. But when her dad is thrown in jail, Jordan has nothing to do but move to a miniscule town in Mississippi called Chunky. There she will be forced to live with an aunt and uncle she has never met and share a room with their two younger daughters. Naturally, Jordan isn't very thrilled with the situation. It doesn't help that her next door neighbor, Duke, insists on going on a date with her. But will the small town of Chunky grow on Jordan? Will she find a love that makes life worth living? And will she finally be able to feel what it's like to have a family that loves her? With a little help from God, Jordan just might finally turn her life around and accept the love from others.

James Bradley worked as a construction worker in Greenfield, Mississippi. Born and raised in Staten Island, he moved down to the south to escape the city life. He always had a short temper, so many know not to get him riled up. Yet he always had a soft spot for his spouse Roseline. While he puts up scaffolding, Roseline Bradley, works as a French teacher at a nearby high school. Coming from the country of Haiti, she learned to adapt to the many different customs and the American dream. She has a strict no tolerance policy for foolishness, with the exception of her husband. This hardworking couple does their best to live their busy lives to the fullest. They both dreamt of the day where they can finally take a vacation and relax. Until then, they go through some of the most random, and unbelievably bizarre situations in this story.

Summary: A young boy fights to survive in a world that is dying. A world full of zombies and factions. Each faction is a group of people fighting others for supplies and their lives. In this new world it's fight or die. Will the young boy find himself in a faction that will protect him? Or will he become one of the undead? It's kill or be killed in the world. Who will survive? Jason Bowelle, leader of one of the most prestigious factions known to the living, finds himself in an unknown part of town where a lost and very malnourished boy has been surviving on his own for two years since everything began. Will he take the kid in? Or will he leave him? Find out and turn the page...
