Set nearly twenty years after the "Island of the Haunted" movie. Everyone at the Center knows about Jarod while only a handful knew that his name was specifically mentioned in the Center's scrolls as the "chosen one". The thing is... Jarod wasn't the only one mentioned. There was another Pretender mentioned who would come down the road. A girl named Dana. Like Jarod, she was taken from her family at an early age. But there's a difference between Dana and Jarod's abductions. Dana had an idedic (photographic) memory. Though she only remembered what her parents looked like when she was a child. They told her she was from Miami, but she distinctly remembers snow on the ground and the air being frigid as it was winter time when she was taken. A weather condition that's not entirely possible in the southern climate. --------------------------------------------------------------------- There are Pretenders among us. Geniuses with the ability to become anyone they want to be. In nineteen sixty-three, a corporation known as the Center isolated young Pretenders, exploiting their genius for research. But their Pretender ran away... While still trying to locate and recapture their Pretender, the Center moved on to another piece of the prophecy, and found another pretender in a young girl named Dana. "They took me from my home in Alaska," Dana said, exhaustion filling her voice. She'd been running for days. "That's not where your home is," Jarod replied. "What do you mean?" "They told you that you were from there so that, if you ever got out, you'd go to the wrong city and state. Makes it easier to capture you." "That's an interesting theory, Jarod. Accept for one thing. They told me I was from Miami, and I distinctly remember subfreezing temperatures the night they took me. I just can't ever go there since they know I remember my home."

This is a fanfiction story involving the show the pretender and it picks up where the last movie of the pretender left off. In it Miss Parker and Jarod become romantically involved finally since they refuse to make another movie. Everything is the same in the storyline from both the show and the movies. This story picks up after the last movie. In this story Jarod and Miss Parker wake up in bed together with no memory of what happened or how it happened.
