A ten year old boy has several things to battle - his mother, who suffers from Capgras syndrome, and thinks he's an impostor claiming to be her child, his Fa-Ther who is rarely seen in home, Granda, the super-crazy old maternal grandmother, and Elem, his sister, who happens to be his only friend. When things happen to go for worse, the boy takes responsibilities head-on. A fifth grader, but how? It's simple. He builds a fairytale. His house is the magic land - Carousel!
