This is how humans misuse our planet EARTH

Ever since India got its independence & the Indian constitution came into effect, providing a lot of freedoms to the citizens, these freedoms have been perpetually misused or abused. The politicians ruling over the country, the bureaucrats promulgating laws& policies and the lawmakers creating laws to govern the people have all taken undue advantages and violated the codes of conduct, the fundamental rights and the general guidelines over the last seven decades relentlessly. In the last three decades the common people, especially the rich, the famous and the criminals having underworld connections have taken advantage through their reach and connections & successfully bent the laws to their own benefits. All these amounts to abuses of freedom. This particular phenomenon of abusing democratic laws and freedoms granted by the constitution has spread like an epidemic and still gaining pace. Everyone including the school going children are hellbent to abuse the freedoms. If these are not taken care of right from the top to the bottom and immediately so, the country will face a catastrophe, so gigantic that nothing will be able to stop the peril of this great country.

This is kind of based on the TV show 'The Flash' but with my own characters, abilities and spin on things. Also this book will contain heavy violence, language references (but not actual swearing) and excessive amounts of blood and gore. Younger Readers be warned!

Juliet has a hard life and living in a shit home on the wrong side of town doesn't exactly help. The one way she has ever known to relieve her daily struggles is through drugs and self harm. She is her own bad habit. She had never had anyone there for her and for that, Juliet was clinically depressed and isolated herself from others. Especially at school. When a new boy shows up he takes an interest in her, but Juliet doesn't know how else to cope with anything other than getting high, cutting, or popping pills into her system whenever she gets the chance. Juliet can't afford falling in love.
