Mandavi was born a Rajkumari of Sankashya and raised in the court of Janak, where daughters were not taught silence. They were taught to question, to observe, and to demand answers. Then came the exile. When Ram, Rajkumar of Ayodhya, left for the forest with Sita and Lakshman, the exile did not belong only to those who went with him. It also belonged to those who remained behind. For fourteen years, they waited. Mandavi began those years as a sister and a wife - a young woman whose sister had been sent away for no fault of her own, and whose husband had chosen a harder path to atone for the sins of his house. But kingdoms do not pause for grief. While Rajkumars fulfilled their dharma in the forest, palaces still had to stand, households had to endure, and a kingdom had to be held together. By the time Ram returned, Ayodhya had changed. So had Mandavi. No longer only a sister, nor only a wife, she had become a daughter-in-law, a keeper of a fractured household, and a queen forged by waiting. This is the story of the exile as seen from the palace - of the woman history remembered only in passing, and of the fourteen years that changed her forever.

An insight into the Love life of a couple from Ramayana. And No! It's not Ram and Seeta

She was the one who had a face as beautiful as a lotus and beautiful eyes shaped like a lotus. Her eyes reflected the glow of the sun and her smile gave a spiritual energy to everyone around her. She was none other than mahalaxmi herself,born on earth once again, this time to teach the world the true meaning of love and dharma along with her pati narayan, now born on earth as lord Krishna. The story follows the journey of princess Vrinda as one of the characters of the epic Mahabharata and the love blooming between her and krishna and finally and finally discovering that she herself is the jagatmata. It also tells about her brother-sister relationship with the Pandavas and her story in their lives. (This is a fictional story written as a part of the epic Mahabharata with my imagination and some of the characters and story lines are also my imagination. Ramayana It's not just a word but a world of it's own. War, pain, bloodshed, betrayal, wait of years, revenge, ego, dharma, agony and what not. Ramayan is always associated with these things. But ramayan is a bit more than that. It's base is LOVE But love doesn't grow in one day. It's a bud that takes years to bloom. We know about the flowers but not about the buds. Let's peep into the buds of Ramayan. Raghili is a combination of two words. Raghav and Maithili. Raghav are the descendants of raghu (the four princes of ayodhya) Maithili are the princess of Mithila. Raghili is the union of these souls, the budding of immature buds into graceful blooming flowers. Raghili is the journey of love. This is purely a work of fiction and not meant to hurt anyone's religious sentiments. I will take creative liberty. Its writters own versions with major deviations from Ramayana plot. The story is written from Urmila's perceptive. It is meant to be written as a fantasy. few things to keep in mind before reading the story: 1) this is a slight continuation of the book 'Lakshman and urmila's love story (after the birth of Lakshmila) 2) I have kept Sita alive for the sake of the story 3) have fun reading the story Glimpse into the story "This is my home as well as yours Sita but you got to understand that you lived in Ayodhya and Mithila longer than I have stayed in both places combined! You are saying that if you go back to Mithila you will be abandoning Ayodhya and this family, but let me remind you that if you do not go back to Mithila you will not only be abandoning your people and home but also your parents that took you in and raised you as their own!"
