Tanrı tarafından lanetlenip başka bir evrene hapsedilen Francis ve Gabriel buldukları büyülü kitapla beraber gerçek dünyaya dönmenin yollarını aramaktadırlar. Bir yandan kitapta ki şifreleri çözmeye çalışırlarken bir yandan da etraftaki mitolojik ve efsanevi canlılara karşı mücadele vermektedirler.
