Her father and twin died in that crash, as Athena's mother was at home. A few weeks after, Athena's mum gave birth to a baby boy called Cole. That was around the time she began to abuse Athena. When Athena was 16 and Cole was 8, they moved to Canada. They were there for about a year and a half before moving to Japan.
