The story isn't at all done so as I'm writing I'm figuring it out too. I've set the story Nairobi and in Kisumu, which is far west of Nairobi. I've picked the title partly because of what Nairobi represents. Nairobi is a throbbing, innovative metropolis situated in a continent that is still viewed very narrowly as a place in need of help.

Heard of it? you must have, whenever our televisions are switched on we are continuously reminded of less fortunate circumstances which take place within the third world, in documentaries and advertisement, even films; a starving child on the screen is all we see. But have you helped it? most likely not, as if sympathetic sighs some how will automatically feed the starving baby in need. But most of all have you lived it? maybe you have, maybe you was lucky enough like Therma. Therma is a 16 year young Ghanaian girl; she might sound like the average teenager, just like you but Therma has been growing up in poverty. However that is all soon to change when she is reunited with her father, a wealthy businessman from England, who after 16 years decides to privilege Therma with a better life. So if you were able to get out of the slums, wouldn't you be over the moon? well I'm afraid change isn't one of the easiest things to go through, even if it is for the best, as there will always be the doubt it could all turn for the worst, a new habitat, a new lifestyle and new world are very hard to adapt to, as we are soon to find out So follow Therma in her moving life, As we see how it is for a African to gain success.
