He was the prison kid, the fighter, the brave. Stuck up for others, doesn't like judgemental people, gets in fights (with Dariush). What happens when these two come together with three other kids and have the weight of the world on their shoulders? What will happen to them when creatures invade their world?

Ava is a sixteen year old girl whose summer job is one thing. Simple: Take care of her thirteen year old brother Alex. They lost their dad in a fire a little while ago, and their family dynamic has shifted in an unfavorable way. Due to his antisocial lock-myself-in-my-room behavior and her apparent 'attitude', they're sent off to a summer camp. She doesn't mind it, it'll get her away from her mother. Ava and Alex don't expect much besides bad campfire stories and annoying bug bites. They certainly don't expect to be part of an unlikely group of teens, and they, understandably, don't expect the end of the world. But hey, summer is the time for new adventures, right?
