The story took place after Naruto decided to postponed his return to the Hidden Leaf and decided to going for his new journey. His unexpected journey is to become a special agent of the Hidden Mist, Hidden Stone and Hidden Cloud in exchange for helping dealing with the Akatsuki in which is poses serious threat to shinobi and already hunted down other jinchuuriki from their respective village as the Raikage, Tsuchikage and Mizukage promoted Naruto to the rank of Chunin as part of the agreement.

Gaara is intrigued by some of the leaf's genin. What happens if kankuro fell in love with a leaf genin but they betrayed the leaf by the sound and the leaf sighed. What if nariko fell in love with a sand shinobi but every male loves her. Tamari notices this about kankuro and teases him about it. Gaara and nariko are fast friends during the chunin exams.
