When y/n's parents hand her over to the government to be tested in the MK ultra trials that were supposedly shut down in 1973, she shows a different effect than the rest of the patients. At the age of 12 she escaped and is moved to New York. After three years of hiding in her New York apartment, she decides to return to school. What could go wrong?

She was a test subject along with many others. But she was the only one that escaped. He was the son of the government figure that she had murdered. And he will stop at nothing to find her. That's all they ever wanted, the truth. But now they're both paying the price.

When we think about the events in our lives we tend to think about the things we've accomplished and the people who made us feel in whatever way. But what if we stopped and thought about ourselves in those moments, took an opportunity to be selfish. Maybe being selfish sometimes isn't that bad. At least that's what I thought when it came to him. When my world was turned on it's head and I learned something about my past that was long since buried.
