Long ago the Equestrian Mech Force was created to venture out in space for resources and discovery. The three territories of Bridlewood, Martime Bay and Zephyr Heights used to work together but eventually established their own branches. Sunny Starscout was always curious about the world beyond, but the stories her father used to tell her of his time in the Equestrian Mech Force really encouraged her to experience it herself. She enlisted in her hometown's branch of Maretime Bay, and on the day her graduation, she and her childhood and best friend Hitch Trailblazer got the pleasant surprise of getting selected into a "special squadron" with other pilots they've never met. Sunny and her new teammates must complete a mission that only they can accomplish. Can they pull it together and learn what makes their squad special?
