Long ago the Equestrian Mech Force was created to venture out in space for resources and discovery. The three territories of Bridlewood, Martime Bay and Zephyr Heights used to work together but eventually established their own branches. Sunny Starscout was always curious about the world beyond, but the stories her father used to tell her of his time in the Equestrian Mech Force really encouraged her to experience it herself. She enlisted in her hometown's branch of Maretime Bay, and on the day her graduation, she and her childhood and best friend Hitch Trailblazer got the pleasant surprise of getting selected into a "special squadron" with other pilots they've never met. Sunny and her new teammates must complete a mission that only they can accomplish. Can they pull it together and learn what makes their squad special? Is it their mechs, their newfound bonds, or more?

1500 Years after the Incursion, 'peace' has been sustained, or at the least no wars. Sunny Starscout a girl who lives in Maritime Bay has been getting visions of a man, someone who's connected to this world deeper than anyone thought. Maybe even enough to save the world from a looming threat.

A couple of months after the events of My Little Pony: A New Generation, Sunny Starscout tells stories of Trolls and Mewmans to her young daughter Aurora Starblazer, who inherits her dream of reuniting the three kinds. One day, a mewman princess named Star Butterfly and her young daughter Marcella Butterfly-Diaz wander into Equestria. The town's residents react in panic, believing that Star and Marcella are hostile invaders. Sunny and Aurora, finally given an opportunity to make friends with mewmans and trolls, shelters Star and Marcella in their home, and Star reveals to her that the other mewmans no longer have magic powers following the royal butterfly wand's sudden disappearance. Together, they embark on an adventure and travel across the world on a mission to restore the royal butterfly wand and magic and harmony to the mewmans and the trolls

Sequel to Pipp, James and the Wonderlights A few months have passed since Thomas' first days and Sodor with Sunny her friends. Feeling somewhat that Sunny's alone and isolated as her friends have gone back home, Thomas decides to try and host a Christmas gathering for Tidmouth. But when unfavourable weather threatens to derail proceedings, Thomas and Sunny will find themselves battling to pull it off. A different version of Sunny's Christmas Party with Thomas' Christmas Party in it.
