(THIS IS AN AU OF MMHOPH!) Dark Heart Valley is the darkest place in existence. The ones that run the place are Mao Mao, Badgerclops, and Hateabat, all of them notorious for being the best of the worse in Dark Heart Valley. Nobody knows how the place came to be, except that it was something that came from the Ruby Heart, the location of the power. The only ones that do know what happened are Orangusnake and his crew, but nobody in the town believes them and usually defeat them in the end. What will happen in this alternate universe? Will Mao Mao, Badgerclops, and Hateabat stay this way forever, or will something make them realize that this is all fake?

A crossover story between the Mao Mao show and "Magic Cat Academy", the 2016 Halloween browser game from Google. Mao Mao is invited as a guest visitor to Pure Heart Valley's school for up-and-learning magic users. There, he meets Momo, a fresh young student with whom he finds a lot in common. When ghosts suddenly appear and take over the school, it's up to both of them teaming up to put a stop to this threat before it escapes into Pure Heart Valley.

Mika Whiskers was looked down upon by her family (except for her mom, who died when she was young). She was abused both verbally and emotionally in her childhood causing her to eventually run away from home. After traveling for a while, and finding herself in the legendary kingdom of Pure Heart Valley, she meets Mao Mao, the sheriff of the town and his two companions, Badgerclops and Adorabat. She tells them she is a "traveler", afraid to tell them about her childhood abuse and that she ran away from home only a few days earlier. Mika becomes great friends with all of them quite quickly, and maybe even a little more than friends with Mao Mao... FIY, Mao Mao, Badgerclops, Adorabat, and Tanya Keys belong to Parker Simmons! I only own Mika ;3 Follow Café Meow Fanfictions (@falluroo)! They inspired me to make this book so so all credit goes to falluroo and Parker Simmons! :3 Also sorry if the story is SO RUSHED- I'm not very good at coming up with things to happen, I like getting straight to the point. In the middle of helping the royal palace clear out junk, Mao Mao discovers an old storybook once held by the king's royal ancestors. Taking it back to HQ, he and his friends read it as a bedtime story, and end up fascinated by how much it seemed to resonate with what they thought they knew.

Life is everywhere. It can be seen in everything and everyone, from the strongest to the most delicate of creatures. From the most acknowledged to the most ignored of destined legends. From the most thriving to the least. Unexpected connections can be found stringing together different kinds of living things. When similarities are found, very interesting things happen. And today, when the sheriff meets the scale, they do.

This is a collection of short stories that feature Mao Mao and his friends in Pure Heart Valley. There isn't really any flow or overarching plot, it's just a bunch of narratives. I publish new chapters each Saturday, so expect something new at the end of each week. (P.S, the songs in the chapters are just my own taste in music. Hope you guys don't mind!) I don't own Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart or any of their characters, this is just my fan fiction.
