What could go right for the boy everything goes wrong for? Usually, Milo Murphy is well-prepared to deal with his family's... hereditary condition. Murphy's law may be a little troublesome, but really. Anything can be faced with a smile! Besides, normalcy would be boring. Who would want to be normal? Well, after a little thought on a slightly gloomy day, Milo sort of wonders what it -would- be like if he was... like the other kids. How would he live a life that wasn't constantly wreaked with adventure, hospital trips, and interrupted plans? Was that even possible? What would he do? He had a few ideas, so he made a list. Somehow, after a series of events that some might deem 'unlucky', Milo finds that Murphy's law is apparently subject to a few strange exceptions. Walking under a ladder backwards and breaking a mirror, or opening an umbrella indoors in front of a black cat, for instance, would usually be expected to cause some bad consequences. Penny Proud is like any other girl but with a somewhat dysfunctional family. Her dad is an utter goofball (but caring). Her mom is a successful veterinarian. Her grandmother is caring. Her uncle can be wild and unpredictable. Her siblings are *annoying*. And then there's her school friends, who she has a very rocky relationship with. Who knows why she hasn't dropped them like a hot rock already. Anyway, one day, she travels to Danville on a school trip. As she is about to get out of the bus, she finds herself trapped inside. She is saved by some White kid with a sweater vest and some girl who reminds her of LaCienega. While she doesn't know it at the time, this interaction is set to change her life and those in Danville forever... I figured I should make this series because of the lack of Zalissa fanfics. Plus, it's the only ship keeping me sane rn. IT'S JUST SO CUTE TO SEE A MIDDLE SCHOOL RELATIONSHIP UNFOLD BEFORE MY EYES. However, I do think the transition from Zack and Melissa becoming closer (friendship and romance-wise) was choppy. So these are just a bunch of one-shots.
