Noct is a Reaper, a member of an elite group of vigilante Player Killer-Killers who hunt murderers for a living in "Tales of Aincrad Online", a virtual reality game that thousands of players have become trapped inside. When a contract takes a wrong turn, he is framed for crimes he didn't commit and his life goes to hell. With justice guilds, bounty hunters, and PKKs all out to get him, Noct must clear his name, and to do so he'll have to fight his way through to the truth, and he'll cut down both monsters and Red players in his way if necessary. Inspired by Sword Art Online, set in a game similar to SAO. Strong language. [This is a first draft story.]

Barrier Anxiety tells the story of ordinary people and their extraordinary pets. Honey is a mixed-breed dog. More on that later. It's a long story, but to sum up: she has within her the ability to change the world. There's also some perfectly ordinary executive assistant, secretary, banker, and so on, whose lives are far more interesting because they end up in the company of astounding cats, snakes, birds, and so on. There is science fiction of the evolutionary biology kind. There is adventure in the vein of comic books and superhero team movies. There are video games that they play together in their time off. There are thousands of mistakes made and, possibly, dozens of lessons learned. Being completely typical people, there are characters who are differently-abled, many different races, neuroatypical, transgendered, and various sexualities, because this is a world where there is no "default" combo of a protagonist. But, to reiterate: These are normal people who end up in phenomenal situations because of their exceptional pets.

Jako że to akapity wycięte ze środka akcji, w tej chwili jest sporo niezrozumiałych treści, ale oczywiście wypada mi krótko przybliżyć, o co tu chodzi: rzecz dzieje się w niedalekiej przyszłości, gdzie konsola nowej generacji umożliwia pełne zanurzenie się w świecie gry w 3D, angażując wszystkie zmysły (to, co umożliwi Oculus Rift, aka to, co było w Sword Art Online). Nasi bohaterowie popylają w jedną z takich gier o tytule Valhalla Online - MMORPG z uniwersum opartym na mitologii nordyckiej. Wybrańcy zostali beta testerami nowego dodatku do gry i biorą udział w Projekcie Ragnarok - mogą eksplorować nowe lokacje i wykonywać zadania, które mają doprowadzić do eventu opartego na mitologicznym Ragnaroku, jednak fizycznie muszą przebywać w wyznaczonym laboratorium, udostępniając swoje organizmy do testowania lekarstw m. in. na zanik mięśni, przeznaczone np. dla osób, które były w śpiączce. Szkopuł tkwi w tym, iż kto padnie w grze, kończy swój udział w Projekcie - a przecież na taką zabawę porwały się tylko nerdy, które nie odpuszczą, dopóki nie wygrają. Mam nadzieję, że nie stworzyłam Leona jako jakiegoś zniewieściałego... Niby nie powinno się używać jako narratora osoby płci przeciwnej, ale wolałam stworzyć to w ten sposób.
