Verity is a new student who had an abusive past meanwhile Mob is insecure about himself and is afraid to hurt his loved ones. Mob tends to find feelings for Verity but instead distances himself from Verity rather than confessing to him all while Verity tries helping him through things. That's when he finds a poster from apperently a psychic, looking for a young esper to mentor. They both don't really have a choice, so they'll have to play along, even though Reigen isn't even a psychic and Mob doesn't like children, especially noisy teenagers like the one he ended up with. How long will they stay together until one of them loses their sanity? Who will challenge them? Is there anyone who can see through their disguise?
