Also, in this book Elliot Ludwig had fired Sawyer before and this would be the first time that they met and work together. After receiving a mysterious letter from a man that they never heard off, the circus gang have been invited to visit the playtime co toy factory, a place that they never been to before, Not even Caine knew about this place until now. But after watching a VHS tape a set of doors mysteriously appear leading to the factory, but after going through them the doors disappear leaving them trapped within the factory's walls. Now trapped within the factory, things take a dark turn as they must work together to salve puzzles, fend off the monsters lurking in the shadows, escape the factory, and maybe find the truth of what really happened here.

DogDay is a Smiling Critter, a child who was turned into a monstrous toy by the notorious Bigger Bodies Initiative. He and his fellow Critters are trapped in Playcare, where they are forced to entertain the kids who visit, while hiding their true nature. DogDay's only hope is to find Poppy, who has been locked away by Elliot Ludwig to be his ultimate creation. He decides to escape from the Playcare, and embark on a perilous journey to rescue Poppy, before it's too late.

In the local toy factory, Playtime Co. the Comedic Duo are both dragged into the factory by Luigi's obsession with collecting Luigi Dolls and wants to get his hands on a Rare Limited Edition Luigi Doll. Unfortunately, Luigi suddenly disappeared while the Comedic Duo got distracted for a moment and are going to have to go find Luigi before something bad happens to him. This had lead the two of them to get their hands on a couple of grabpacks and eventually end up meeting various toys like Huggy Wuggy, Kissy Missy, Bunzo Bunny, Pug-a-Pillar, Mommy Long Legs, Poppy Playtime, CatNap and the Smiling Critters. Then they soon became friends with a newly created toy with a blue helmet, a pencil in his nose and wearing a yellow shirt with his own name named Jeffy as he later became a new member of the SMG5 family. What kind of adventure will our heroes be up against in the world of Playtime Co.?
