He analyzed him. He critiqued him. He insulted him. So he seeks his revenge...
In eighth grade, we had the English assignment to write a suspense short story, having read classics like The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe, and even getting to watch a couple episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. I wrote this story for the assignment in November of 2023, and while I thought it was fantastic at the time, and it still is for eighth graders (I ended up getting 100s in all categories), at least before a lot more people started cheating with AI, it's a little goofy now that I look back on it. Still, since I thought it was an interesting story I wrote, especially with it being the first story I've written that I was actually pretty proud of, I decided to publish it unedited for you all to enjoy, one part at a time. I believe it will be a great way to see how much I've changed as a writer over time, from eighth grade to now and the future, as I continue writing more short stories, and hopefully, a series / novel eventually! Enjoy!
