He analyzed him. He critiqued him. He insulted him. So he seeks his revenge... In eighth grade, we had the English assignment to write a suspense short story, having read classics like The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe, and even getting to watch a couple episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. I wrote this story for the assignment in November of 2023, and while I thought it was fantastic at the time, and it still is for eighth graders (I ended up getting 100s in all categories), at least before a lot more people started cheating with AI, it's a little goofy now that I look back on it. Still, since I thought it was an interesting story I wrote, especially with it being the first story I've written that I was actually pretty proud of, I decided to publish it unedited for you all to enjoy, one part at a time. I believe it will be a great way to see how much I've changed as a writer over time, from eighth grade to now and the future, as I continue writing more short stories, and hopefully, a series / novel eventually! Enjoy!

It's a poem about the distant feeling of disdain, the overthinking that's done before we all fall asleep , the so called theory of our angels and demons is predicted in it where are the positive parts depicted the optimistic angel in your heart and the negativity is depicted as pessimistic demon of your heart, its just a overthinking phase, a distant voice reckoning you to believe in it and try to break and fix you at same time, a confused phase experienced by everyone at least once in their life, hope you like it !!

"Where is there a snow colder than my veins?" She would ask. And though I've known her For many years Her eyes still keep secrets She whispers that she doesn't see A world fit to be For just a King and a Queen A ruler in all of tyranny. Mercy, please! We cannot see The dangers that exist in just being! What can we do and what can we be When we are blinded by all mystery? I'd tell her it was meant to be In a world much less stale, In a world with more than heads or tales. Who are we? Why are we trapped in symmetry? Is cold a thing we feel Or is it us? Is it a state of being?
