Sixteen year old Nadine knows little about her family. She knows that both her parents played a role in The Hunger Games, she knows that they're both broken, but she doesn't know the whole story. Until one day, a group of Capitol rebels start kidnaping the victors. Katniss and Peeta are both kidnapped. Nadine and Asher, her brother, go to rescue their parents; and, in the trip, they both learn more about their parents and their past than they ever imagined. But if they are to find and rescue Katniss and Peeta, they will have to do unthinkable things and make decisions that may destroy them beyond repair. (On hold until further notice)

This story is based on after Mockingjay. This story is all about the Epilogue. And we all know what happens in the Epilogue. This fanfic takes place 7 years after the War. Peeta and Katniss move on with their lives as a married couple. And so many unexpected things happen along the way. With all these events going on, will Peeta and Katniss get through them? Will they get their happy ending? WARNING: I wrote this story when I was 13 years old and it is very horribly written. It has lots of grammatical and spelling errors and it is undergoing some serious editing. Haha. Read at your own risk!

Katniss Everdeen, the girl that was on fire, burns on. She has survived the Hunger Games, the Quarter Quell and the rebellion. Nearly two years later, she hopes for a new start, still struggling to recover from the death of her beloved sister Prim. Everyone works together in order to put the rubbel of Panem back together. Paylor is president, but are the Games really over? Memories from Katniss and Peeta's past come to haunt them today. Even with the threat of Snow now gone. Will they find the strength to survive once again, or will they break apart?

Katniss and Peeta are recovering slowly as they try and rebuild their lives back in district 12 again after the revolution. With a steady democratic government and the abolition of the hunger games, will Katniss and Peeta be able to find the lives of victors after all? All rights go to Suzanne Collins! Peeta and Katniss have been recovering from the tragedies of the Rebellion for the past fourteen years. Katniss has nightmares and Peeta has flashbacks occasionally, but with each other they've lasted through it all. New obstacles are thrown, but if they have each other, they can get through the good times and the bad.

Katniss returns to 12 after assassinating President Coin. When Peeta returns, they reconnect. This story is my take on what happens between the last chapter of Mockingjay and the Epilogue. The first part is what I'm considering the prologue. It contains portions of text from Mockingjay in it. I've changed some things to fit my storyline better. The second part will be Chapter 1 and it will begin with Peeta and Katniss's life after Peeta returns to twelve. Guaranteeing their toasting and babies.
